Amazon.com has announced today that the new Australian Kindle DX featuring all the brilliant features of the original Australian Kindle will commence shipping to Australia on January 19 2010.
The big difference between the standard Kindle and the Kindle DX are
- increased memory of 3.3GB which holds up to 3,500 books.
- the screen size – at 9.7 inches compared to the standard Kindle at 6″,
- auto rotation – when you turn it on its side the screen automatically rotates
