Skiff and Sprint have announced a new ebook reader to be launched in the US at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas next week.
It features metal foil e-ink display and is at 11.5″ and 1600 x 1200 will be the largest ebook reader on the US market at launch. It features
- 11.5 inch touch screen
- 3G (Sprint) and WiFi built in
- 4GB memory with SD card expansion
- Speaker and 3.5mm headphone jack
- USB 2.0
- Battery life of 1 week
The Skiff will go on sale at Sprint stores an unspecified date in 2010. International dates have not been announced. No news on Australia – perhaps in late 2010 or 2011.
